Project of Humanity (2026)
The Project of Humanity,funded by the WE ACT FOR KIDS FOUNDATION of France is providing non-formal primary education to slum children in Mirpur under Dhaka North City Corporation and financing the slum school graduates to pursue high school education. Approved by the NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh Government and with a yearly budget of BDT 143.55 lacs in the year 2026, the project will provide primary education at 21 Grameen Shikkha run slum school (grade-1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) centers each with two shifts – morning and afternoon, i.e. in a total of 42 shifts and bear their basic educational expenses studying in several local high schools. Project activities are supervised from the local Grameen Shikkha office in Section-10, Mirpur. Text books for this school is supplied free of cost by the Directorate of Primary Education under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education of Bangladesh Government.
