Grameen Shikkha-YY Foundation Slum School Project (2026)
The GrameenShikkha-YY Foundation Slum School Projectis funded by the YY Foundation, Germany to provide non-formal primary education to 50 slum children in MirpurSection-10 under Dhaka North City Corporation. Approved by the NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh Government and with a yearly budget of nearly BDT 8.27 lacs in the year 2026, the project will provide grade-1 primary education at the Grameen Shikkha-YY Foundation Slum School in two shifts – morning and afternoon, each with 25 students.Project activities are supervised by the local GrameenShikkha office in Section-10, Mirpur. The Directorate of Primary Education under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education of Bangladesh Government is supplying text books free of cost for students of this school.
