GrameenShikkha-GSRD Secondary School Support Project (2025)
Funded by the GSRD Foundation of the Netherlands, the GrameenShikkha-GSRD Secondary School Support Project is a new project that aims at providing financial support to 300 poor slum children, over a period of fours years starting from the year 2022, from Sections 10, 11 and 12 of Mirpur who are studying in grade-9 at five local high schools in Mirpur under Dhaka North City Corporation. The project is approved by the NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh Government and has a budget of BDT 72.46 lacs for the year 2025. Project activities are supervised from the local GrameenShikkha office in Section-10, Mirpur. Objective of the project is to assist these students complete secondary education and advance toward higher education. Students are receiving education under the mainstream education system of Bangladesh under the Ministry of Education of Bangladesh Government.
