GrameenShikkha-GSRD Vocational Skills Training Project (2025)
The GrameenShikkha-GSRD Vocational Skills Training Project aims at providing short-term vocational training to 10,041 young men and women over a period of five years startting from the year 2022. The project is funded by the GSRD Foundation, Netherlands. Training is provided at the Grameen Shikkha Vocational Training Center in Savar Town of Dhaka. Students under this project are receiving vocational training in electrical house wiring, fan-motor rewinding, industrial electrical wiring, industrial sewing (garments machine operating), dressmaking and tailoring, garments machine mechanics, computer applications and graphics, the Internet, spoken English, motorbike repair etc. Approved by the NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh Government,the project had a budget of BDT 80.00 lacs for the year 2025.
