GrameenShikkha-GSRD Medical Scholarship Project
The GrameenShikkha-GSRD Medical Scholarship Projectisproviding financial support to 25 medical students studying in nursing or MBBS coursein different medical colleges or nursing institutions like Sheikh Hasina Medical College, Sir Salimullah Medical College, Mymensingh Medical College, Rajshahi Medical College, Manikganj Nursing College, Sher-E-Bangla Medical College etc. Each of the students received BDT 5,000.00 a month as scholarship during the year 2022 and the scholarships will continue for another three years. The project is funded by the GSRD Foundation, Netherlands and approved by the NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh Government. Total project costs during 2022 was about BDT 17.00 lacs. Project is continuing in 2023 with approval from the NGO Affairs Bureau.
