English Language Skills Training by Grameen Shikkha
Grameen Shikkha Vocational Training Program has launched an English language skills training course (mainly speaking) at its Talbag, Savar center in Dhaka. Initially sponsored by Ms. Celine Delacharlerie of Singapore, this is a 72 hours course organized in 36 classes over three months following the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach. Although the course is specially offered to vocational students of any trades, any young person may apply for it. Training is mainly conducted in face-to-face classroom setting, but virtual make-up class is also arranged for convenience of students. This training program is now conducted under the GSRD supported vocational skills training program of Grameen Shikkha.
