Vocational training for the unemployed youths
Grameen Shikkha, with financial assistance from the GSRD Foundation, the Netherlands, started a new vocational training project in 2021. The project, called “Vocational Training for the unemployed Youth,” aimed at providing vocational training to 1,000 unemployed youths over a year (January-December 2021) in electrical house wiring, fan-motor rewinding, industrial electrical wiring, industrial sewing, garments machine mechanics, dressmaking & tailoring, and computer applications. Program ended successfully, providing skills training to 1,057 youths.
